Air Chief Marshal Pipoon Voravarnpricha, Managing Director, Thai Aviation Industry Co., Ltd., welcomed a visiting delegation and entrepreneurs on July 9, 2024. The visit aimed to enhance cooperation in the defense industry between Thailand and France.

During this occasion, a presentation was made to showcase the company's service capabilities, followed by a tour of the Don Mueang Aircraft Maintenance Center, which is equipped to service commercial aircraft, including the Airbus A320 Series, Boeing 737 NG, ATR72 as well as government aircraft.

This visit represents an important step toward defining strategies and exchanging ideas to drive investment and build a network in the defense industry between Thailand and France. It aligns with the Thai government's policy to develop the country's technological capabilities in security and self-sufficiency, reduce imports, facilitate technology transfer, and promote the export of domestically produced military equipment. More than 30 representatives from both French and Thai companies participated in this visit.
